This Sunday: It’s the great 50 day of Easter and we will continue our Eastertide sermon series entitled: Life Reset. Jesus is Risen indeed and how we live in THIS world matters. This week: Life Reset: Compassion and jJustice

OIMC Special offering: All churches in the Oklahoma Annual Conference are encouraged to collect a special offering for the Oklahoma Indian Missionary Conference (OIMC) to further the missional outreach of our Native American churches. OIMC churches often serve poverty ridden areas and the ministries of OIMC churches reach deep into the community offering help, relief, and hope to the people of their mission field.
Oklahoma Annual Conference: The gathering of Oklahoma United Methodists will be Monday, May 27- Thursday May 30. Most of the meetings will be at Oklahoma City University, but we are excited to share that Wesley has been selected to host the events on Monday, including the evening Worship service and reception remembering pastors and their spouses who have transitioned to the Church Triumphant in the last 12 months. Volunteers are needed during assist the 400-500 guests we are expecting for Monday.
Volunteers needed for Monday, May 27:
Greeters for Sanctuary: 5:30 to 8:00 PM – 5 needed
Greeters for West entry and hallway 5:30-9:00 PM – 2 needed
Refreshment servers: 6:30-9:00 PM – 2 needed
Community Breakfast on 5/25: Our next Guy Ramsey “Breakfast on Us” community breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, May 25th from 9-11 am. You can volunteer to help or donate an item such as: eggs, juice, bread, fruit or milk. A sign-up sheet is available outside the main (West) office.
LGBTQIA+ Discussions Conclude: Please be sure to cast your ballot by Sunday, May 19. All materials and ballots are located outside the History Room on Level 3.
Donations for Wesley Mission Trip to the Border: Twelve members of Wesley will travel to McAllen, Texas June 22-28 to work with immigrants and low-income families. Your help is needed to collect these small items: Shoe strings, belts (in smaller sizes), hair ties, and small toys. Toys should be the size of matchbox cars with no loose parts and must be clean or new.
Wesley Children’s Art Camp: July 29-31 (Monday-Wednesday, 5:30-7:30 PM)
