In Worship: We continue our Worship series – “The Tie That Binds” – based on the Scripture passage:”Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful” (Colossians 3:14-15).  Relationships form us.  In this worship series, we are invited to consider how our relationships with the Holy One and with each other form and transform us.  This Sunday:  The Tie That Binds: Lifted.

Care Meals for the Warners: Longtime Wesley friends Bishop Bennie, Anna, and Mardea Warner have asked for our help to provide a few healthy meals each week that they can heat & eat or thaw quickly from the freezer.  So, we are beginning to provide “Care Meals” and need your participation!  Here are the details:

  • Each Sunday morning, Wesley will collect prepared food donations from you for the Warners.  Your donation can be homemade or store bought.
  • Bring your donation to the West office and it will be placed in the refrigerator or freezer in the children’s area.  All donations will be delivered to the Warners either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.
  • Please provide a main dish or side dish items (such as grains, vegetables, fruits).  Casseroles are perfect too! —–Please no fried foods or sugary items. (Pertaining to chicken, the Warners prefer dark meat and wings.)
  • Please put a DATE on all items.  If you want your dish returned, please make sure your name is clearly visible.

Thank you!
