Raise the Roof! For more than ninety years, our Sanctuary has been a sacred space for countless worship services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, and special events.  However, our forty year old roof has reached the end of its life and there are several leaks causing interior damage.  The Board of Trustees is starting a Raise the Roof” capital campaign for the sake of our beautiful Sanctuary.  The cost to replace the roof is $69,000.

Between now and Easter Sunday (April 12th), we ask you to prayerfully discern your contribution as we endeavor to “Raise the Roof” at Wesley.  You can make your contribution Wesley with “Raise the Roof” in the memo, or you can fill out a pledge card indicating your plan to contribute between now and June 30, 2020. Thank you for your faithfulness. Together, we will “RAISE THE ROOF” at Wesley!

THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS ALREADY ANSWERED THE CALL TO RAISE THE ROOF!

This workshop will address how to find more affordable medications AND how to navigate medical debt. We’ll end the session with some next steps about what can happen politically and thinking through what we could do together with our potential buying power as institutions connected to VOICE.

UMCOR Sunday is March 22.  For 80 years, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) has worked with communities that are overwhelmed by natural or man-made disasters.  These efforts are possible because of your generous giving on UMCOR Sunday. When tornadoes ripped through Oklahoma, UMCOR responded. When a massive tsunami devastated lives in Japan, UMCOR responded. And, when the next mass crisis occurs, UMCOR will be prepared to respond.

Wesley on the Move is published each Sunday and covers news for the upcoming week.  For more information about Wesley Church or activities at Wesley, contact:
